She's done!

I finally finished this painting.  Started months ago as a gift, I have been unable to find the time to complete it.  I am learning that in order to do the things I like, I must make the time, and that finding the time is not an option, as there will always be other things that scream that they are the priority.

It is finished now and I am pleased with the results.

  3. Thank you both. i had never heard of Georgia O"Keefe until today when another artist on "Wet Canvas" made the same comment after I posted a pic for critique. I loved doing this one, and Bernie, you are right...we need to make times for the things and people we love.

  4. Awesome! I LOVE it!
Are you going to sell it or keep it for yourself?

  5. Hi TRO! This one is a gift for a family member. I have yet to sell a painting. They are usually claimed before they are finished. I enjoy painting very much, and perhaps if I had started younger, I might have been able to sell a few. For now, I just enjoy the process.

  10. That has the wow factor for me. Doesn't matter it took you a while, it had to develop at the pace perfect for this lovely finish.
