I am convinced that if I just planned better, my day would be more organized. I am lessening time spent here, and THAT takes discipline, however, the reward is that I can fit more time into my day.
I started my morning off better than yesterday. As I am working tonight, I stayed in bed as long as I could and then visited with son #1 for a short while. I prepared my supplies for painting before I left and all there was to do when I got back, was to make a cup of coffee, and pull up a chair to my easel. (Warning...when painting, put your beverage as far away from your work area as possible. That ensures that no brushes or paints make their way into the cup.)
I will post a pic of my completed painting as soon as it is finished which is soon!
How did you spend YOUR leisure time today?
Good for you, I am looking forward to the finished product.......:-) Hugs
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on doing something that makes you so happy, and finding a way to fit it in. I spent my leisure time yesterday (it's only 7:00am right now) having great conversations with my hubby and playing on the computer, as usual...
ReplyDeleteHmmm. How much of my time today would be considered to be "leisure?" Washed up dishes from last night and this a.m. -not leisure. Got sauce cooking for some kind of pasta for supper tonight? Not a difficult thing to do so maybe that could count. Embroidered while babysitting/watching the grandson. The watching him part isn't really leisure but it is fun, most of the time but the embroidery, when it goes okay, is fun and is generally "at my leisure." Kind of a mixed bag there. However, my son and his girlfriend did stop by and we had coffee, nicotine, chit-chat and nothing else interrupted us except for having to battle Kurtis to get him to let us wipe his really yucky, runny nose but because that was only not even a minute of the time while my son was here, I'm gonna call all of the time of his visit -about an hour at least -as being my leisure for the day! Nice and pretty relaxed day no matter what, overall -so I'm happy!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! Good luck with your painting, I bet it will turn out gorgeous!
