A Quilt for Owen

This is the last of my Christmas projects.  I started this quilt when Owen was born, and delivered it this weekend.  The bright colours caught his eye immediately.  I am not used to using such bright colours, but it was a fun quilt to make!

This quilt is meant to be used, loved and worn out.  I placed it on the floor and placed our baby on it.  I hope that he will enjoy it for many years to come.  The top is pieced from cotton material...the back is a bright striped flannel...cosy and warm.

I happen to love Christmas and I think I have discovered why that is.  I love making gifts from the heart...and giving them to people I love.

Christmas (2011) prep has begun already, as I piece together a quilt for my granddaughter.  If I learned anything this year, it was NOT to leave projects to the last minute.

Many people have mentioned that they are not seeing the pictures that I post on my blog.  Please... if you do not see this quilt, leave a comment.

Until next time.....
