Where did Our Summer go?

Cooler nights.  Leaves falling.  Birds gather in flocks. Autumn is here, and while it is my favourite season,  I regret having to bring out clothes that I shed a few months ago when the warm weather arrived.

Our Frannie continues to heal.  What a trouper she is.... With the same determination she has used since she was little, she focuses on walking again so that she can go home.

What appeal "Home" has now for us.  I wish I had been able to live as small before.  How nice it is to be able to find things...to feel as if there is nothing more that is needed.  Cleaning is a breeze!

With the arrival of the cooler weather, I find myself spending more time inside...and, as I did not have enough to do, I went looking for more.  My friend and I have signed up for a correspondence course entitled "The Science and Art of Herbalism."  I have looked long for something like this ...and found it right in my backyard.  "Faunus Herbs" ships  worldwide...and they are almost neighbours!!!

The biggest news of this post, however, is the my pellet stove is on order!  Perhaps you may remember my post about wanting a Pellet Stove, written a year ago?  If not, I will end  by posting it for you...  You never know when it may be useful!!  (It worked for me!)

because a promise is etched in stone...

So when you find me frozen

cuddling two dogs, a bird, and fish.
