My transition from cluttered to simple living.

I just love this flower...

Isn't it beautiful? I can hardly wait for the snow to clear and for spring to make an appearance. I am looking forward to seeing my daffodils poke their noses through the soil. Planting bulbs such as these give a body something to look forward to...all winter long.

Isn't it is strange the things that we look forward to? We are all so different and so are the things we hold dear. Aside from the joys of parenthood and grandparenthood (which are tops on my list...) I will dance for joy at the thoughts of attending a quilt show....or the prospect of an opportunity to go for a paddle. Calls from loved ones, a weekend with a friend. a visit from dad, new undies and socks, plans for a bigger garden...all these and more give me goosebumps.

I look forward to reading my daily news...the blogs of friends I have met along the way. This kind of social networking has filled a void in my life and has helped to pass the long winter months.

My posts will be less frequent now, and I may miss some of your news throughout the coming season. I am still here, however.. cheering you on and celebrating with you, the things that make you happy...and hope to check in, and post, on a weekly basis. I will be back with a vengeance in the fall, and will take pics and keep track of all that has happened along the way.

  4. You are also on my list, so when you blog I will see it. Google Reader is my friend, so I don't miss anything. I also will cut down now that spring is here, and I look forward to your paddling adventures captured here to share with me now and then. You are a cherished virtual friend!
