I almost feel ashamed of myself. It has been a while since I posted. It seems as if I never have anything to write about. We all know the feeling, right? Well....Let me see what I can dig up!
I have been working a little more than I usually do. Two different shift postings in the past two weeks has been tiring. Work continues at the "old house." Every day off is spent there, sorting and disposing. Our only available storage space is full now, and I have resolved to bring as little here as I can.
I have learned to delegate. We now have a fellow booked to keep the lawn tidy there. What a tremendous help that is!
I finished a quilt for my daughter's friend... and am working on one for my granddaughter. Painting class has been put on hold as has any other activities not related to moving.
June 17th is the date of possession. I am truly looking forward to concentrating on this home. Both Wayne and I are appreciative that we were able to live in such a lovely home, but nothing beats going to sleep to the sound of frogs in the pond by our window...and wakening to the call of the Loon.
I hope that all my blogging buddies are well. I do visit your blogs from time to time, and hope to see you all soon!

I know, I know, we always do this on Thursday. But I forgot to publish this
one yesterday, so we’re just gonna do it today. …
The post Thankful Friday | ...
I see your comments on my blog now and then, and I'm glad to hear you are just too busy to write! Only a month away now before possession! I hope you are able to post after that...
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back. I enjoyed your update. It's good to hear you are ok and enjoying living in such a beautiful place. I always like seeing your pictures.

I understand the huge task you are dealing with at the "old house"...I think, lol. We feel like we've had a bit of luxury having lived in our home for several years, but ready to make significant changes soon and no doubt will feel relieved once we accomplish that. June 17th seems so far off, but in a way it's a blessing to have the time to finish clearing away your things and possibly disposing of the unwanted belongings in that remaining time. I was very happy to hear that your house sold. Tom and I have been very busy here with our downsizing efforts (not sure if we are coming or going much of the time!) and no posting to my blog either. I do enjoy reading posts from those of you who do find the time - makes good coffee break reading. :-D
