My transition from cluttered to simple living.

Just checking in!

I had expected that we would lose our waterfront when they dropped the Trent water system...but we have been fortunate.  We have had lovely days, and are still able to enjoy the view from our front window.  The nights are much colder, and without a doubt, winter will soon arrive.

I don't dread winter as I once did.  Days move quickly now, and one season melts into the next.  I expect that winter will pass as quickly as the summer did, and before long, my tulips will bloom again.

I have been incredibly busy.  We are still in the process of moving.  (It seems to go on and on.)  The Real Estate market has come to a standstill.  In two months, we have not had a viewing on our home.  I am discouraged... but I remain hopeful.

Besides moving, I have  been working on Christmas presents...studying "The Art and Science of Herbalism" (a study at home herbal course)...attending a 4 week long vegetarian cooking class...and working!  My cup is full and I am happier than I have been in a long time.  I have had visits with my grandbabies....I don't think life could get much better!

I hope that all your days are full of everything that you hold dear!

  3. Moving is such a chore, and not having your house even looked at is discouraging, but you are certainly not alone. I would never have imagined the housing market to stay depressed like this for so long.

But it sounds like you are happy and doing well, and I'm so glad that you are able to visit with the grands!

  4. Glad to hear you are enjoying your days by doing things that are so meaningful to you.
The housing market is horrible here in the US too. It's good to remain hopeful! Stay positive and it will all work itself out.
