My transition from cluttered to simple living.

Just checking in!

I had expected that we would lose our waterfront when they dropped the Trent water system...but we have been fortunate.  We have had lovely days, and are still able to enjoy the view from our front window.  The nights are much colder, and without a doubt, winter will soon arrive.

I don't dread winter as I once did.  Days move quickly now, and one season melts into the next.  I expect that winter will pass as quickly as the summer did, and before long, my tulips will bloom again.

I have been incredibly busy.  We are still in the process of moving.  (It seems to go on and on.)  The Real Estate market has come to a standstill.  In two months, we have not had a viewing on our home.  I am discouraged... but I remain hopeful.

Besides moving, I have  been working on Christmas presents...studying "The Art and Science of Herbalism" (a study at home herbal course)...attending a 4 week long vegetarian cooking class...and working!  My cup is full and I am happier than I have been in a long time.  I have had visits with my grandbabies....I don't think life could get much better!

I hope that all your days are full of everything that you hold dear!

And last but not least...

Somehow his picture was lost on my last post, but I am also very thankful for Dustin's presence in my life.  Dustin...you bring me great joy with your seven year old antics, curiosity, and deep thought...  You and your brother and cousins give me reason to smile.  Nothing is better than a day spent with all of you.
